I am a PhD student in the Human-Centred Computing section at the University of Copenhagen. I am supervised by Prof. Kasper Hornbæk and Dr. Hasti Seifi. I also collaborate with Dr. Mar Gonzalez Franco at Google AR & VR and with Dr. Teresa Hirzle at the University of Copenhagen. My PhD is focused on making augmented reality (AR) more usable and useful in our everyday lives by creating new ways of mixing real life with digital content. My research journey has been marked by impactful contributions to top-tier venues, including CHI, International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, ACM Transactions on Human-Robot Interaction, ISS and DIS.
Before starting my PhD, I was a UX Researcher at Mathworks. I received my bachelors degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at IIIT Delhi where I worked with Dr. Aman Parnami on wearable interactions.
Besides research, I like to cook, read and bike. In fact, you may notice that I often build food related prototypes to demonstrate my research.
